This restaurant is the highlights of our business trip to Wuppertal. We were a bit disappointed by the restaurant in the city centre. So glad that we found this restaurant, didn't make any reservation because we were coincidentally in around the street nearby...and the staff let us in (they were fully booked for dinner). Lucky we can spend 1,5 hours well.... with their very good Italian food. Staff are so friendly and the foods are superb!!! I also love the interior of this place.... a charm of an old building, give me a good warm welcome feeling. p.s Reservation is required ?

I have been a regular at this pizzeria for around 20 years. For me, pizzas at Giovanni are the measure of all things when it comes to high-quality Italian pizzas. The pizzas taste excellent and are well topped. The pizzas I ordered here in the past few months also arrived warm and without loss of quality. I wish Don Giovanni and his team continued success and personally all the best! Many greetings from Florian!

Wonderful food. Tagliatelle with salmon is always an absolute delight. The steak was juicy and cooked to the point as desired. Very child friendly, nice little terrace.

Our new regular Italian ?? Whether spontaneously in the evening for a pizza with salad and a beer or an extensive dinner with a starter; we are always welcomed and served in a friendly manner (our dog is also welcome) and the food is super delicious ?

Were here spontaneously a few weeks ago and very pleasantly surprised! From the outside rather inconspicuous, decor very rustic (Jägerstübchen just) but the food was delicious and a lot! The staff is totally friendly! We will come back in any case!

We were there today. Outside was an offer sign with the note: "Pizza, toppings on request with a small salad" for 9.50 €. We then told the waiter when ordering our pizza toppings. The desired pizzas were then served with the salad. The disappointment came when paying. Instead of the offered 9.50 € were charged 11,50 € per pizza. On our query why another price was charged we were told that some of the ingredients are more expensive. It was neither something on the offer sign nor were we made aware by the service on it. We were pretty angry at this behavior, which we deem fraudulent. We will certainly not visit this restaurant again and certainly not recommend it to anyone. We felt ripped off. ?

Very nice and fast service. The shop is rustic and has its own charm. The pizza topping could be chosen freely. And it was delicious too.

You could definitely pay Giovanni a visit, but you should expect that afterwards smells of cigarette smoke. The food is very good, the staff is also very friendly. The restaurant could be a bit more comfortable, otherwise top :)

The interior is a little bit rustic. But a really great pizza. A price, with no matter what topping, and in addition you get an excellent salad with a dreamlike marinade. Staff is also very friendly and accommodating. All in all a really nice evening. Thank you very much
